Soma Yoga & Dance stands in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, Asian & Pacific Islanders, immigrants, refugees and LGBTQ+ communities.

Soma Yoga & Dance acknowledges that we are on the ancestral lands of Coast Salish Nations, whose people still steward this land today. This land we occupy embodies a living history shared by many nations, many of whom still fight for Federal recognition. These include the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People, and this land touches the shared waters of all tribes and bands within the Duwamish, Puyallup, Suquamish, Tulalip and Muckleshoot nations. We recognize and honor with gratitude the land itself and all its Indigenous peoples, past and present.
